Who is mentioned in this family tree?

This family tree is built from the spoiling of the parochial registries of the catholic parish "Santa Maria e San Zenone" of Borso del Grappa, situated in the italian province of Treviso in Venetia.

It aims at raising a complete panorama of the families of the parish, from the end of the XVIth century to the current period. It also presents several branches which settled outside Venetia or outside Italy, due to the emigration of the certain inhabitants of Borso, essentially from 1870.

The hamlets (frazioni) of Semonzo and Sant' Eulalia, although administratively dependent on the municipality of Borso del Grappa, possess their own parish. The families of these two hamlets are thus not represented in this tree.

For reasons of privacy, no person born after 1996 is mentioned.

How have surnames and first names been registered?

In order to make the search easier, surnames have been registered as they are written today. When it differs from the actual, the original form is meanwhile saved in a field called “Surname spelling variant” within individual records.
